These are the words that were spoken over our destiny.  THESE Words help to shape our existence; some even believed it...many STILL believe it and are still unconsciously riding on the utterances of yesterday; they have yet to embrace the realities and opportunities of today.  Look at what she said in ignorance...take a good look! Picking Cotton: Doing hard labor for someone else to profit.

Picking Corn: Gathering someone else's bounty so that they are fed while you pick up scraps.

Slaving: Rigorous work with little pay

Singing: [them old negro spirituals...the ones that spoke of our destitute lives and left out VICTORY on earth]; WAITING for the Sweet Chariot to pick us up and let us ride.

Laugh at trouble: IS it a Laughing matter to be Beat, Whipped, Stripped away from your family? I think NOT! Has calamity only been set aside for us...I think NOT!

Be content with any old thing: WOW...again...WOW! I dismiss theses words...there is SO MUCH for us and we shall NEVER be content with the mundane...we were created for TOO MUCH GREATNESS! 

Do what the "White Folks Tell You": NO beloved...walk in your God Given Strength. USE the mind God gave you to achieve Great Thing in this Earth. [smh at this one]

Fight the Devil: Battle against Opposition; Yes Kate...but we ALL DO! OR do you think you are exempt from that? During this time you most likely did.
Shout About Gabriel's Horn aka...Judgement Day: Many times we were just waiting for Vengeance to be taken upon those who mistreated us. We just lived our lives and looked hopefully forward to the sweet-by-and-by...again ACCEPTING our NOW; Being content with our current situation. NO...ABUNDANT LIFE CAN BE REALITY NOW [Kate and Crew]!!!
Stroke the Train: "The GREAT Escape". Many wanted to keep us bound by thinking that we had to leave earth to Achieve Success...they kept POUNDING, DRILLING this into our heads. [look how many times this song mentions it] NO GO!!!! REACH FOR...EMBRACE...TAKE YOUR SUCCESS NOW and LATER...They are BOTH Yours!

WHY were you born? To fulfill Miss Kate's Prophecy? Na! 

You were BORN to EXCEL in LIFE. You were born to LEAD. You were born to BE...without reservation. 

We need to be DAILY and CONCENTRATEDLY (just made up this word) SPEAKING LIFE INTO the ATMOSPHERE! SPEAK over not only yourself but over ALL people! TAKE your DOMINION.  

You are a Child of LIGHT...Don't accept being in Darkness.
